Web accessibility and usability

We ensure our website and its contents are accessible to a wide range of visitors, including those with disabilities

Zoom

For users with visual impairments, if using the latest browser versions with 'text-zoom', text-size can be increased by holding down 'Ctrl' key and scrolling (at the same time) the wheel of your mouse.

Text for images

We use alternative text for images - useful for users who either cannot see the image, or disable their images.

Sensible links

Rather than using "Click here" for links, we make every effort to make the link more descriptive so you'll get a better idea of where the link will take you.

Non reliance on Javascript for crucial pages

Understanding the need that Javascript navigations can cause problems to some users we use simple navigation that can be access using access keys or tabs. A Site Map of our website is available for quick reference to all pages.

Proper headings

Proper heading in <h1> tags, help make it easy to understand the information being provide on a page.

Print

Print option is available at the same location on all important pages so that these pages can be printed and read later.
